Wills & Probate

With today's busy lifestyles it is so easy to overlook making a Will and yet arrangements can be simple and straightforward.

The consequences of dying without having made a Will, dying 'intestate' can be devastating for your loved ones especially if they only receive a fraction of what you wished them to have - or indeed nothing at all.

Do not assume that if you are married your spouse will get everything. Do not assume that your jewellery, mementos, gifts of value or gifts of sentimental value will go to whom ever you choose. You can only be sure your wishes are carried out if you make a Will.

You should definitely make a Will if:

  • You have dependant relatives
  • You are buying or already own a house
  • You have investments
  • Your life is insured
  • You will pay inheritance tax

With many years of Will writing we will guide you through the process to ensure that all your wishes are carried out. Furthermore we will also store your Will securely FREE OF CHARGE.

It is also important to update your Will if you have a change of circumstances. We are there to offer advice on this aspect and if necessary, can arrange for your Will to be redrafted or amended by Codicil if appropriate.

Our Probate Department understands the needs of the beneficiaries at this difficult time. Our systems, protocols and personal service is designed to ensure that the administration of the estate is dealt with efficiently and in a cost effective manner.
